Hi, I’m Grace.

  • Children, Adolescents, Adults, Parents and Families

  • Great question, my first priority is always to assess what you need and tailor our work to that. But there are some specialties that I have (its ok if these look like a bunch of letters, we can get into it!):

    – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    – Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

    – Play Therapy

    – Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)

    – Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

    – Expressive Arts

  • I’m a north Georgia native, and I’ve worked in the field serving families all over the state- which means I’ve learned a lot about people, resilience, and the occasional backroad detour. After finishing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health, I started my career with Calm Waters Counseling Practice, and later continued with GA HOPE, before joining ACC at the start of 2023. I’m a foster and adoptive mom, which gives me a deep appreciation for the ups, downs, and in-betweens that families navigate every day.

Adolescents, Young Adults, Adults, Families

I am the therapist who believes there is power in taking a first step and doing things afraid. I work with adolescents and young adults dealing with life transitions, college and career choices, and relationship conflicts, as well as adults and families seeking restoration after trauma or deeper insight into their own stories. I seek to be a sounding board for the client with a big decision to make, a non-judgmental space for the one sharing a story of past pain, and a cheerleader for those aiming to meet their goals.

The urge to perform and appear perfect can be crippling – speaking from experience. I’m here to support you on your journey of coping with life’s challenges, instead of “white knuckling” your way through.

Being raised in a single-parent household, I was introduced to anxiety at an early age. The support I received on my own therapy journey made healing and bravery attainable. Now, as a wife and adoptive mom of two, I have seen firsthand that life is richer and more beautiful when we embrace the hard and the good.

If you’re overwhelmed, exhausted, discouraged, or all of the above, I’d love to meet with you. Clients have shared that my approachability and willingness to appear human is what draws them in. I enjoy providing a space where everyone can just be, without expectation –free to laugh at life, voice their fears, and begin to experience healing.

Taking the first step in asking for help can be intimidating, but I’m here to support you every step of the way.
