Helping people feel more in charge of their emotions is where my heart is. Big emotions dont scare me, bring it on.

Great question, my first priority is always to assess what you need and tailor our work to that. But there are some specialties that I have (its ok if these look like a bunch of letters, we can get into it!):
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and DBT for Children: Helps with big emotions, relationship struggles, and impulsive behaviors by teaching real-world skills for calming, communicating, and coping.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Focuses on noticing unhelpful thought patterns and shifting them so you can feel and act differently in everyday life.
Attachment-Based Family Therapy: Supports families in repairing ruptures, improving communication, and rebuilding trust so kids and parents feel more connected and less stuck in conflict.
SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions): A parent-based program for helping anxious or OCD kids by guiding parents to respond in ways that reduce anxiety while building the child’s independence and confidence.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A trauma therapy that helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they don’t feel as triggering or overwhelming, making space for healing and moving forward.

grew up in East Cobb and then became a proud Gamecock at the University of South Carolina before making my way back to Atlanta for grad school at Georgia State. Before joining Atlanta Counseling Collective, I worked at Newport Academy with teens and families who needed the higher levels of care that come with IOP and PHP—which basically means I’m very comfortable jumping into the deep end with families who are in tough spots.
I didn’t always know I’d be a therapist, but I’ve always been that person people open up to. Turns out, leaning into connection and conversation really was the right fit.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll probably find me making jewelry, hanging out with friends, or trying to keep my coffee warm long enough to actually drink it before the day gets away from me.

Children, Families, Adolescents and Adults
I work with kids, teens, young adults, and families who are trying to navigate the tough stuff—trauma, anxiety, depression, and all the ways those experiences ripple into relationships and daily life. My heart is in helping people build healthier connections with themselves and with the people they love most.
In individual therapy, I create a space where you don’t have to edit yourself. Together, we’ll look at the beliefs and thought patterns shaping your world, and I’ll walk alongside you as you find new ways to cope and build resilience. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based—I believe every person already has resources inside them, and my job is to help you see and grow those strengths.
I also love working with families. Relationships between kids and their caregivers can be complicated, especially when trust has been broken or communication feels stuck. I especially enjoy helping high-conflict families find healthier ways to relate, guiding parents who feel like they’re constantly walking on eggshells in their own homes, and supporting families who want to strengthen their bonds before their kids leave the nest. Using attachment-based family therapy, I help families identify and repair ruptures, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection so home feels like a safer, more supportive place for everyone.
I’m trained in EMDR, a therapy that helps people reprocess traumatic memories so they don’t feel as overwhelming or defining. My goal is to help clients move through life without being weighed down by the past. I also integrate tools from CBT, DBT, play therapy, family systems, and mindfulness, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs.
No matter who I’m working with—kids, parents, or families together—I aim to create a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and hopeful. Healing isn’t about being perfect; it’s about finding new ways to understand yourself, connect with others, and feel more confident in moving forward.
