Hi, I’m Hannah.

Hannah Ashmore, LMSW - Children, Families, Adolescents and Adults

I work with kids, teens, young adults, and families who are trying to navigate the tough stuff—trauma, anxiety, depression, and all the ways those experiences ripple into relationships and daily life. My heart is in helping people build healthier connections with themselves and with the people they love most.

In individual therapy, I create a space where you don’t have to edit yourself. Together, we’ll look at the beliefs and thought patterns shaping your world, and I’ll walk alongside you as you find new ways to cope and build resilience. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based—I believe every person already has resources inside them, and my job is to help you see and grow those strengths.

I also love working with families. Relationships between kids and their caregivers can be complicated, especially when trust has been broken or communication feels stuck. I especially enjoy helping high-conflict families find healthier ways to relate, guiding parents who feel like they’re constantly walking on eggshells in their own homes, and supporting families who want to strengthen their bonds before their kids leave the nest. Using attachment-based family therapy, I help families identify and repair ruptures, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection so home feels like a safer, more supportive place for everyone.

I’m trained in EMDR, a therapy that helps people reprocess traumatic memories so they don’t feel as overwhelming or defining. My goal is to help clients move through life without being weighed down by the past. I also integrate tools from CBT, DBT, play therapy, family systems, and mindfulness, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs.

No matter who I’m working with—kids, parents, or families together—I aim to create a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and hopeful. Healing isn’t about being perfect; it’s about finding new ways to understand yourself, connect with others, and feel more confident in moving forward.
